NEOGA ILLINOIS CATHOLIC CHURCH CIRCA 1950

Photo of Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church circa 1950. To the right is the rectory and the big building in the background is on the same street as the Short Furniture Store and is the location of the Masonic Lodge, Shorty Lowe's Barber Shop and the west side Neoga Fire Station. In the background on the left is the Methodist Church. Further to the left on the street in front of the churches is the home my Great Grandfather Samuel Anderson retired to in the 1920s.
The lower photo is the back of the postcard mailed from Mattoon on January 4, 1955 with a 2 cent (!) stamp.
